With over 30 years’ experience working in the public sector, both in administrative and managerial roles, I took advantage of a redundancy opportunity in January 2013 to embark on the exciting, but scary, venture of setting up my own business.
As a trained administrator and medical secretary, and as a lecturer who taught administrative and secretarial skills to a large number of students, I developed extremely high level practical and communications skills. I also have an expert eye for detail, honed from many years checking and proofreading student work!! Progressing into management roles developed my project management and scheduling skills, reliant on my ability to multi-task and communicate across all levels of the organisation. These skills and expertise are now being used to provide bespoke, professional, efficient and cost-effective admin support to businesses of all sizes. You can be confident that all services are provided to a very high quality and are mindful of the tight deadlines that businesses operate within – I won’t let you down by being late in completing tasks.
Drawing on my career in education, training and development, my particular specialty is working with the training and consultancy sector although this is not exclusive and work is actively sought across all sectors.
Cloudburst is based in the North East of England but, being virtual, geographical location is not important. Work is accepted from clients around the globe but we are ideally located for any NE business needing ‘on site’ support for a period of time.
